Sr. General Manager

You're the bridge between restaurants and product. You'll run our customer success and teach us how to actually run a restaurant.

NYC or Remote $120k–$150k + equity Report to CEO

What you'll own

The Role

  • Onboard new restaurants from contract to first order in 7 days.
  • Be the voice of the customer in product meetings (we're building for you, not investors).
  • Create playbooks: "How to launch wassup.world in a busy restaurant without chaos."
  • Build a community of restaurant owners who actually help each other.

About You

  • You've managed a restaurant with $2M+ annual revenue.
  • You can teach a server to use a POS in 10 minutes (because you've done it 100x).
  • You know why the expo screen matters more than the marketing page.
  • You've dealt with 3 delivery tablets and a broken printer during Friday rush.

Why this job doesn't suck

Real equity

0.5–1.5% — you're a founding team member, not employee #500.

Service hours matter

Work 8am-4pm. Be done before dinner shift starts. No night meetings.

Fix the industry

Every restaurant you onboard stops paying 30% commissions.

Build, don't babysit

No corporate red tape. Ship ideas in days, not quarters.

Apply without the bullshit

No cover letters. No ATS. Email us your story and we'll reply in 24 hours.

Or just call us. Seriously. 1-555-WASSUP. Ask for the CEO.
